Hey Sophie, I am a student from the UK studying at the university of Sheffield. I am in my second year and have a massive summer which I need to keep occupied in. I have always had a passion for travelling, and then i came across this BUNAC work america scheme. I am worried about doing this sort of thing on my own, you know, putting myself out there… its scary! would you have any advice for me? Is it easy to meet people and make friends? From Cher x

hey Sophie i jw what option did you do when you applied did you take the full placement or self placement because i jw if you do the full placement do bunac only find you the one job when you get there or do they help you to get a job in any state that you wish to work in ?? x

I have a question about money. I’m doing Work America in Summer 2014 and was wondering how much would you recommend to take with you? Also how did you get to your money because I know some ATMs charge on debit cards? So how would you recommend taking your money? :)
I have applied for the full placement work america, but now I am thinking about going for the self placement because of the job flexibility. How easy was it to get a job using the Jobzone ? Which would you recommend self placement or full? Also would you recommending getting second job while there and did you have to inform Bunca ?
