Goodbye 2021, the year of not a whole lot!

As we see in the new year, let’s hope it brings less restrictions, more travel and more positive news for the whole world!

We’ve spent this morning with family before heading off for our first visit to RSPB Old Moor in South Yorkshire.

I had hoped to feel inspired and be able to have a new walk to blog about but unfortunately this one wasn’t dog friendly and so we couldn’t enter! A 1 hour walk along the transpennine way instead had to do!

Just about sums up a year’s worth of cancelled plans and uncertainty – Only fair we spend our last day of the year doing – not a lot!

To everyone reading – Happy New Year and I hope 2022 is better for all of us.

We end this year with very mild December weather and the sun is shining bright. Let’s hope for a hot summer and a lot less rain… Failing that, let’s hope we can all go on holiday again!
