Freedom has arrived

UK Travel is back!

The ‘stay at home’ rule ended on 29th March over here in England. Which means we are now able to travel wherever we may like! Obviously, we are not all booking holidays 200 miles across the country.. But it does now mean we don’t have to look over our shoulder wondering if we are going to be slapped with a fine for ‘travelling too far’. No more worrying what is classed as ‘local’ travel and how far is too far?

So far, funnily enough I’ve still only stayed local! But I can’t wait to get back on the road visiting new places again. It has been so much fun discovering the beautiful hidden gems in Yorkshire whilst in lockdown. I also discovered a new found love for the place. But I have definitely missed the ‘shall we go somewhere new’ attitude and it’s time to get back out there.

Today we are going on a day trip and will be finally venturing back to the coast! It’s been over 6 months since I last saw the sea which must be a new record for me!

Where are you planning on visiting when your lockdown ends?

    • Ahh Lake District, I really need to get out there more! I hear it’s lovely yet I’ve only been once a very long time ago. Sometimes we spend too much of our time exploring outside of the UK when it’s all here on our footstep! I hope you enjoy your trips! You’ll have to let me know how they go 🙂
