Exploring Nymphenburg Palace and Schlosspark

This is a beautiful place to come on a sunny day if you enjoy parks and green space. The grounds are huge giving you plenty to walk around or space to sit and have a picnic in the sun.

If you like birds and wildlife you’re in for a treat too!

I spent around an hour here just walking around and taking photos. You can purchase an audio guide to learn about the history. I believe it was less than €5 but I didn’t do that so I can’t comment on whether it is good value for money.

In the winter the surrounding water freezes over and by what I’ve seen of the postcards it looks beautiful so this place isn’t just great on a summers day!

You can reach here by tram 17 from Munich Karlsplatz. Takes less than 15 minutes and costs €2.90 one way. Worth visiting on your trip to Munich!
