This isn’t a list of recommendations since I’ve not yet had the pleasure of experiencing any of these yet, but it is a list of the top 10 things I want to do when I visit Manhattan in December!

1. The Holiday Walk

This is something I can only imagine you enjoy mostly if you’re a fan of Christmas… which I am! This walk takes you by all the department stores lining the streets of Manhattan so you can admire the art of the window displays. I’ve seen the winter displays in both London and Paris, it’s only fair I take a look at New York too!

2. Rockefeller Center – The Tree

No doubt my love for this location came from the movie Home Alone 2 but who cares, it’s a must for me! I need to see that tree.

3. Ice Skating in Central Park

Seen this in movies hundreds of times and it definitely reminds me of Christmas. Not sure I’d be so good at Ice Skating since it’s been a few years but I’d love to skate around Central Park!

4. Radio City Christmas Spectacular 

I really want to see this! But given the high cost of the tickets I’m not entirely sure whether I’ll be able to. If you have any tips on whether I would be best booking now or waiting until the day- please let me know!

5. The Ball Drop

Definitely on the bucketlist this one… Still undecided whether I will attend the ball drop with it being freezing cold, ram packed with people and hours and hours of waiting however at the same time… it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity so I could be tempted.

There are a ton of other things I want to do that I haven’t yet had chance to do whilst in New York, some include:

– Eat at Ellen’s Stardust Diner
– Climb the Statue of Liberty
– Watch Lion King on Broadway
– Visit Coney Island
– Visit The Hamptons
