So I’m actually in Australia right now camping!! How awesome is that 😀

Currently in Melbourne! We actually ended up skipping Canberra as we got caught in a massive thunderstorm and figured if we stopped there it would continue so we just drove the whole 9-10 hours straight through to Victoria instead haha

It was such great fun. Turns out I really like being on the road 🙂

I have a tent, mat to sleep on, a sleeping bag, pillow, teddy..(of course), noodles and even had a cheeky pear cider earlier.. What more do I need?

Now we will see how it goes in Melbourne and take it from there, looking forward to exploring the city tomorrow finally.

And incase you’re wondering who I’m travelling with.. I actually met someone through a Facebook backpacking site. When you travel to Australia on the working holiday visa there are tons of groups you can join that put you in touch with fellow backpackers. Just look for someone heading the same way as you or with an interest to do the same things and voila..

It’s a great way to meet people and experience new things just by putting yourself out there!

I’m already glad I chose to start my adventure around Australia like this!
