My Instagram page is turning 10 this year! (@sobeauworld) Where has the time gone??

If you have ever followed me on there you’ll have been subject to outbursts of photos followed by radio silence. I am terrible at keeping things up to date! But truth be told, I just don’t travel as much anymore. I don’t have those ‘instagram-worthy’ shots like I used to.

But this isn’t strictly true. I might not travel in a jump-on-a-plane type of way but boy do I get out and about. In fact i’m probably trying new things now more than I ever have.

From backpacker to dog-friendly glamper to child-friendly day tripper to Disney-fanatic to foodie. It’s safe to say, I’ve been around the world and back again. I’ve no idea where life is going to take me but what I do know is I love looking back on my adventures (and forward!). I still write for me and Sophiebeau.com has become my biggest hobby. I love to share my favourites and my latest finds. If you’ve followed me throughout the years, thank you truly.

I’m not 100% sure which direction my blog is going anymore but I enjoy writing and I especially love to shout about places I visit and enjoy. Local businesses and food places are a few of my favourites. Besides, what’s travel without local food?

I suppose my question to you, reader, is what do you enjoy seeing on my blog?

Is it local places to go so you can try them for yourself? Is it snaps abroad so you can grab some holiday recommendations OR do you just simply like to snoop at some of the places you wish you could visit but know you won’t because life always gets in the way?

I will always write for me and only what makes me happy. But the hits on my blog tell me walks and food abroad is more popular than anything and this really surprises me! Instagram is easy because I LOVE to take photos so I’m never short on them.
