Hello to all of you reading this wherever you may be!

You’ve probably noticed I haven’t posted for a while. You’ve probably also noticed that the world is falling apart.

If you haven’t, don’t turn the news on, you’re better off not knowing.

I’m currently sat in the car road tripping up to Scotland. You may think we are mad and perhaps stupid but if I’m going to isolate myself, it’s going to be in the middle of nowhere with plenty of hiking trails.

I’m very lucky to still have a job currently. Whilst I do work in the travel sector and my role has changed significantly due to the impact of the travel bans, I’m still going and I’m very thankful to work for such a great company. I permanently work from home anyway so life is currently continuing as normal with a few exceptions.

We are driving up to Scotland because our flight to Slovakia this morning was cancelled. It’s a shame I won’t get to see Budapest for a while now but there are worse things. I’m happy to just be safe and healthy.

I hope everyone’s doing well and whether you’re on lockdown or not, now is a good time to be thankful for all the things we do have. ❤️
