Where would you go for 1 week away?

If you lived in the UK and had only one week to travel wherever you wanted in the world, where would you go?

I need your help! I’m trying to plan a week away for my birthday this year. It has to be a realistic option. For example, a week in New Zealand isn’t going to work as half the time will be spent on the flight! It also needs to be somewhere that has plenty to do here, I like a beach and nice hotel now and again but I can’t spend a week doing nothing. Most of the time your typical ‘all inclusive holiday’ just isn’t going to cut it.

So, if you were me and liked walking, warm weather and had a pick of anywhere, where would you go?
