This weekend I visited Cornwall for the first time! So what better place to stay than a hotel right in the heart of it all.

Located in Newquay overlooking the Tolcarne Beach and Great Western Beach. Next to all the restaurants, shops and bars you really couldn’t ask for a better location.

Rolling up to the hotel it didn’t look like anything special but the location was good and we only ever need a place to rest our head.

I was pleasantly surprised to find my partner had booked us a room with an ocean view. This made our stay just perfect! Check out that view…

We even got to watch the beautiful sunset from the comfort of our hotel room!

There was a lovely looking restaurant attached to the hotel, we didn’t get to try it out but they have a great beer garden that was very popular on Saturday.

Below the hotel was Great Western Beach where we spent most of Saturday relaxing and swimming in the sea. You have a great view of this beach from the hotel beer garden.

The room was incredibly spacious and I loved sitting at the table admiring the view. Makes me wish I had an ocean view at home to appreciate every day.

Good value for money and a comfortable modern room that I really enjoyed staying in.

Overall a great hotel I’d happily recommend if you wish to visit Newquay. It definitely made my first time in Cornwall a great experience and I can’t wait to go back!
